A new age Winery with modern aesthetics
whose primary goal is to set and impose all the standards
for higher quality wine production
On the beautiful island of Kos, at the center of the island, at the foothills of Mt. Dikaios, in the welcoming land of Asfenidi where since ancient times has been producing renowned wines, the Triantafyllopoulou Vineyards has been creating its own legacy.
With modern techniques and with respect towards the environment, have been making wines with a passion and with care, using only grapes that have been grown in their own vineyards. These grapes have been conditioned to the microclimate of the area bringing forth a multitude of flavors. This effort has made the vineyards and the winery, which is open to visitors, an exemplar for others in the Dodecanese and even further. Apart from captivating wine tasting experiences, the location with its idyllic view of both the mountain and sea serves as an atmospheric backdrop for all kinds of ceremonies and events.
Aiming to bring to the forefront the history of wines from Kos, we have established a 12 acre vineyard. The island due to its location provides a great environment to grow even the more sensitive varieties of grapes. The climate is Mediterranean with a mellow winter and warm summers without excessive heat, mainly due to the sea breeze during the day.
The combination of the fertile grounds with the implemented practices for cultivation contribute to the optimal development of the vineyard in all the stages of development and ensures that the grapes ripen in the most favorable way.
We have planted and cultivated with care Greek varieties of grape such as the fragrant Malagouzia and the Aegean Athiri and Asyrtiko as well as more international varieties such as deep red Merlot, the aristocratic Syrah, a vibrant Chardonnay and a sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon. Alongside this we also keep an experimental vineyard with many different Greek grape varieties in an attempt to study the way they adapt to the climate because the care and the expansion of the vineyard never stops.
On the ground floor are the most modern in the industry presses and the stainless steel vinifactors. In the lower floors you find our high quality French oak barrels for the aging of our wines . That is where the wines spend the most important part of their journey in a controlled environment in order to maintain them under the optimum conditions, showing our dedication to these wines our attention to detail and our obsession with quality.
In our elegant reception areas our trained staff provide an unforgettable journey into our wines while enjoying the beautiful view of the Aegean. In addition there is a permanent gallery with works of Greek painters. The winery is certified with ISO22000 and is equipped with state of the art machinery.
Our establishment is a great way for the world to get to know Kos not only as a destination for their vacations but as an island with great wine production, wines with particular flavors revealing with these flavors the nature of the land in which the grapes were grown. Each meeting of people who are friends of wine and the journey with them from our vineyard to their glass. A trip that is repeated every year and yet, it is different every year, a new search for the best experiences and nuances in wines.
Another very important goal of ours is the constant betterment and improvement in the way we grow our grapes and tend our vineyard but also the way we make our wines. Being an island that attracts so many people each year, the experience of the quality of the new wines of Greece is open to many travelers from across the world.
The Wines

Malagousia – Sauvignon Blanc 2015
Dry White Wine
PGI Kos
This is a truly delightful island white from Kos, which, even though it has a summery feeling, is ideal to enjoy throughout the year. The blend works really well; Malagousia is there to contribute elegant floral aromas, while Sauvignon Blanc offers its typical citrus twist and mouth-watering acidity. A highly versatile wine that can be offered by the glass as a welcome or aperitif but will pair well with light dishes, salads and vegetable risotti.

Syrah 2012
Dry Red Wine
PGI Kos
Syrah seems totally at home in the Southern Aegean, where it has every reason to express its typicity perfectly. This is an award-winning red wine that makes most of the warmth of its terroir and the spiciness of the grape, oozing peppery notes and ripe dark fruit in the nose, while being full, rich and long on the palate. This is definitely a red meat companion, ideal when paired with game, lamb or pork in spicy recipes.
