Pamidi is an orange red-skinned grape variety, quite common in Northern Greece. It is found blended with darker varieties, as on its own it produces pink wines.
Pamidi produces highly alcoholic, low in acidity and weak coloured wines that yet are rich, with multiple levels revealing themselves on the palate. They are refreshing, cheerful on the palate with notes of pomegranate, strawberries and cherry-gooseberry jam, with a long smoothly sweet aftertaste.
Match it with baked Feta in crust with honey, exotic cuisine dishes, fresh salads and strawberry sweets.
