Moschomavro is a light red skinned variety grown in small quantity and only in central and NW Greece. Vinified on its own or together with other varieties such as Xinomavro, Moschomavro belongs to the Muscat family and retains some of the characteristics such as the flowery aromas and the easy, pleasant feel.

It yields refreshing wines with light red colour, pleasant traits, strong scents of carnation, Moschato grapes and red fruit, as well as marked acidity and a light body.

Moschomavro wines are not meant for aging but can be enjoyed fresh with salads, soft cheese, chicken recipes and pasta dishes, such as lasagne.
